I'm supposed to have sourced one for a project I'm working on at work, and haven't yet - oops! Anyone know of/used one at all?

As in a 'help' one or something uplifting that makes you feel good?

georgiemum · 22/01/2009 14:36

I have found these - they may be a pile of poo though. I could ask some colleagues if you have a little time...

Both Georgie. We're setting up a Patient Information Prescription project for people presenting with mild to moderate depression and anxiety. One part of the project involves identifying and purchasing resources for all the public libraries so that patients will have access a range of information in different formats.

Those links look good - if you've got time to ask your colleagues I'd be very grateful. Our next project team meeting isn't until 2pm on Monday, so I've got a few days to source something.

Thanks so much for your help here - it's much appreciated

Hi. I have posted a request on our forum so some bright spark will know of something. Just highlight that there is a lot of rubbish available too that can make things worse!

Are you producing your own info?

paolosgirl · 22/01/2009 15:12

Yes, our rep from the CMHT has produced a great range of leaflets specific to our NHS services, and we're purchasing material for the libraries that were used successfully in another similar project. Another group member has already beeninvolved with a therapeutic counselling service and has identified material which we'll also tap into. Agree - so much rubbish out there, esp. in this area, so it's important that we get it right.

Maybe approach some professional bodies to see what they have?

paolosgirl · 22/01/2009 15:21

Yes, we've done that. Some good resources from MIND, SAMH, RCP and so on.
