I haven't been on any medication for a very long time - I had fluvoxamine and had CBT which was great - am thinking of going to ask my gp to refer me for more.C an't really advise on the drugs thing I'm afraid.

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/01/2009 17:19

oh my hands were raw and bleeding,it was horrible.

dsrplus8 · 08/01/2009 17:28

im gona ask at my next review, about the meds.not very many people are understanding about ocd, my boss is ok my dh is used to my quirks but most people look at me like im nuttier than squirell sh*t! even the hv thinks im bonkers!.my best mate is fab though, she doesnt bat en eyelid and will even go to resturants with me (cant use big spoons, use teaspoons instead),bless her she even asks ive got "my spoons" with me.(take some at all time in case the place we end up doesnt have "right" ones. lol.

there are quite a few OCD folk on mn - have you seen past threads ? worth checking out

ComeWhineWithMe · 08/01/2009 17:34

I have to touch wood all the time I think of something awful happening and need to touch some wood ,it gets worse at night .

Also used to be a counter when I was a teenager used to list the amount of people who brushed past or physically touched me each day.

Also a bugger checking if plugs are out at night.

Gawd I sound a right nutter now .

ComeWhineWithMe · 08/01/2009 17:35
