How off could i possibly feel if i start on citalopram ?

i know some people can feel sick or dopey at first and as i am already struggling and feeling ill with another issue i was wondering if i should start these now, having a lot of things to do / go to next week

please advise me

I didn't feel ill so much as a bit spaced out plus they gave me palpitations to start with. If you are feeling really rough you may want to wait a day or two but the sooner you start them the sooner you will start to feel better. The side effects generally settle down within 2 week for most poeple.

my mood improved immediately. I felt very very tired though - which is quite a common side effect, and was told to take them at bedtime to start with, which helped. No other side effects apart from feeling SO much better

this is my worry, i really dont need to be spaced out or tired at the moment

what about taking them at night though? it really did help

I found they made me feel nauseas for a few days, but that was about it.
