I was feeling stressed out today & wound myself up no end.Then I heard that a lady I know has breast cancer & it made me count my blessings that my problems are pretty minor things in comparison.

Yes yes there is nothing like putting things in perspective is there? When I broke my ankle very severely I was in a lot of pain but when I saw other people in the ward I felt like my injury was nothing in comparison. There were elderly ladies with multiple fractures after falling and one woman who had broken her knee and after subsequent infection had to have an operation to have the entire knee joint removed. She had to stay like that for months until all infection had cleared up and then have an artificial one put in.

Soon puts you in your place doesn't it?
