I took it for quite a while and found it invaluable for sleep - felt quite dopy during the day for the first few days but this soon wore off and it was such a relief being able to sleep at night. Don't remember getting any side effects. HTH

Am also on this, has anyone had it for depression too?

I was prescribed this a few years ago. I took it for depression, in combination with a few other things if I remember correctly. I found the side-effects very hard to deal with. The first time I took it, I could barely walk the next day - the room was literally spinning and I had an horrendous headache. Gradually the side-effects wore off after a week or so, but they still made me groggy. Can't say that it helped with the depression much; I found Prozac much better in the end but often it's solely a personal thing. Some antidepressants work wonders for some people, others not so much.

If you do take them, take them in the evening before you go to sleep and start with a very low dose and build up.

Hope they help.
