amitryptaline any experiences?

am on this nearly 2 weeks now and had side affects anyone had same

I've had it for 10 days and havn't noticed any effects at all!, the info in the box says takes up to 4 weeks to work, so still waiting and hoping

apparently it helps with back pain, which I guessing is one of the reasons my gp gave it to me.

i took 10mg for one week and then 20mg for another week so thats 2 weeks in total have had a constant headache since i took them and diareoh(sorry never could spell that word). am taking them for depression hoping they will kick in soon though

I'm taking them for PTSD/depression after a car crash when I broke a bone in my back, I gather amytriptyline helps with way pain is felt as well as depression.
Candy, Sorry to hear your having headaches & dioreah, I'm taking paracetomol and codiene based meds so maybe that's why I've not had these, hope the benefits kick in for both of us soon.
