Noahsmummy12 - noone will look down on you or think you're a bad mum. The fact that you know you should be seeking help indicates you already know what you need to do - for yourself and then for your family.

I self harmed after my DS was born - I had extremely bad PND. It's great you are in a clear mindset and can see what needs to be done. Don't be scared - your GP is there to support you. The hardest thing is lifting the phone to make the appointment and then to decide what/how to say how you feel.

Write down your feelings and hand the list over. Be true to yourself and you'll get over this.
