Am I depressed, again?

Hi. Im sorry to everyone out there as i know there are lots of posts like this.

OH works away in week, finding it very hard with a 5yr old and 2yr old, Had PND after DD2 was born, weaned myself off tablets and felt ok for a long time but now just starting to feel depressed again. Did start back on the pill a month ago so wondering if this is affecting me. OH has been quite awful in the past but he has got alot better. Dont have much confidence around him though and just feel im struggling. Cant really talk to him as he doesnt understand.

You sound pretty clued-on to me. I'm always suspicious of the pill because I have had some problems with it too in the past. Having said that, dealing with DDs on your own during the week would exhaust anyone. IME I have only ever been struck with depression when I have been physically/emotionally worn out first. Do you have a good GP? I'd go back and talk to them again - you might find they can point you to support groups as well as offer meds if that's what you decide you need.

Big hugs - hope you feel brighter soon. The one thing I always remind myself of now each time depression hits is that I have been through it before... it always passes in the end.
