Can I stay temporarily with my parents if made intentionally homeless?

If me and my children are made out to be intentionally homeless and the council have given us the 28 day temporary accommodation.

Once the social services become involved and we still have nowhere to live, am I allowed to stay with my parents temporary?

They are in a 2 bedroom so would be overcrowded but it would be until I've secured somewhere to go.

Would this be allowed? They are housing association so not sure if it's ok :(
I'm trying to cover every worse case scenario as my children can't be taken from me :(

I’m sorry you are having a tough time Miley, I don’t know the answer, but if you post this under legal topics, I’m sure someone will be able to help. In the meantime I’m bumping this one for you, and keeping everything crossed the council can find you and your children a place to call home ASAP.

You would be best staying in the temp accommodation. As they will do anything to get you to stay at your parents. We have just had this same issue with my mil last week. She is now in temp accommodation.
