Anxiety meds and weight gain

Just that really. Has anyone found some good anxiety meds that don’t cause weight gain?

having a hard time, would like to try some meds but already overweight and don’t want to gain any more.

I don’t think it’s the meds itself that cause the weight. It’s the change in the brain to treat the mental health struggles, which may then alter your appetite.

I always gain weight on antidepressants as I eat more, as anxiety causes me to lose my appetite. When I’m on ADs I have a good appetite and don’t have the anxiety getting in the way. I think the key would be sticking to a diet but it’s not always easy to do that.
