How long does duloxetine take to settle after switching from sertraline?

14 days into taking duloxetine (7 days 30mg and 7 days 60mg) after 2 weeks of weaning off sertraline and my brain is everywhere. I struggle with pms (currently happening) so know this is all a dangerous time for my mental health. I keep arguing with my partner as he just doesn't understand it takes time and I need a tiny bit of grace. Our argument got especially bad this evening and he threw "there'll always be something wrong with you" at me which was totally crushing and my suicidal feelings have intensified. Please somebody tell me it will settls soon? How long does it take?

It’s very hard switching from one medication to another and your partner needs to be more understanding. I’ve been switching from sertraline to vortioxetine and my husband can be very harsh with me too.
Try not to take his comments to heart and focus on getting through the transition phase. God luck? Hope it makes you feel better soon.
I think it takes a good few weeks before the new medication starts really working.
Why did you come off the sertraline op?
I felt it wasn’t working as well. Maybe I should have kept going up a dose. It’s difficult to know isn’t it?
