Hey all, I started taking citralopram 4 days ago for post natal depression/anxiety. I feel I was struggling more with anxiety rather than low moods, but since taking them ive struggled with sleep (although I was struggling with this anyway) and I feel so flat and can't be bothered to do anything. How long till the pills kick in? It would be great to hear your positive experiences 💖

With all anti depressants medication it’s not a quick fix, you’ll start to feel slightly better in about six weeks or so. It’s not a magic pill and it will take time. In the meantime be kind to your self don’t do too much and ask for help. I wish you happiness and congratulations on your new baby!

Hey @SherryCherryCake I've been on it for 4 months now, I'm on the max dose. It's taken a while to work but all antidepressants tend to take a while to settle in. How are you feeling today?

Thanks @Favouritefruits for your reassuring words 💗

@Paperplanes33 I feel ok, I sometimes feel spaced out and completely exhausted. Not sure if this is the meds, or just part of having PPD/PPA
