Anyone come across Targeted Individual / gang stalking? Any ideas of how to deal with it. Someone I know.

Context?

Yes, I had a friend who talked about this. It was a manifestation of his schizophrenia. When he was consistent with his medication he realised it was delusional but when he came off his meds it seemed very real to him.

Thanks Gaspery. Not on meds but has bipolar. That makes sense.
Eyes open… if you haven’t come across it, please don’t bother looking it up .

I think it is a kind of symptoms of paranoia. People can believe lots of unconnected strangers or organisations are personally targeting them. When in reality it's just spam/ads/coincidence with the occasional potential scammer in the mix. But it's almost always a symptom of mental illness to feel this is happening.

I hope you can speak to your doctor or counsellor?

The person concerned won’t register with Dr or see a consultant. Adult but not at risk to herself or others at the moment. Can’t cope with being told they may be having a breakdown. But yes I think it is paranoia fed by online conspiracy theories.
