Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources.

You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected].

Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to get some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

Wishing you the very best,
MNHQ💐

I'm sending you a big virtual hug.
I too suffer from really poor mental health and have been suicidal many times but I absolutely PROMISE you that it DOES get better.

I don't know what you feel you have messed up but whatever it is, it's not worth your pain (emotional or physical) - I feel for you and I know you must be really low and at rock bottom, but you will feel better after a while.

If you haven't already contacted a doctor or Talking Therapies then please do so today - I thought that they'd be a waste of time but my doctor really listened to me and it made me feel heard and she put me on Citalopram which made me feel more in control of my negative thoughts.
Talking Therapies are something that you can self-refer to - I did even though I'd had counselling in the past that hadn't worked but TT were totally different and he really helped me to understand how and why I was feeling what I was and taught me new coping methods.

Take care - I'll be thinking about you x
