Sertraline 50 or 100mg - what helped you and what differences did you find? Previously taking Citalopram 40mg, which was gradually increased over a few years from 20mg.

Feeling very low, slightly anxious.

Hi. I’m upping from 50mg to 100. Hoping it’s going to help with my terrible anxiety 😟

I’ve been upped too! Started 100mg today….we’ll see. I’m feeling so nauseous at the moment.

Fingers crossed for you

I have been on 100mg a day for almost 2 years and it really has helped with my anxiety

I’m actually still feeling so nauseous. GP was surprised as I’m not starting from scratch and already have an SSRI in my system, as we did a direct switch from Citalopram. She felt perhaps the 50mg dose wasn’t high enough so maybe like a slight withdrawal and increased to 100mg. I’m on day 4 of 100mg and still feel sickly.

I’m actually taking 75mg this week and starting the 100 soon. I wanted to avoid feeling too sick and strange!! Let us know how you get on and I’ll post again soon!
