Citalopram increase to 30mg

Hey,

i’ve been prescribed 30mg citalopram today. An increase from 20mg to help with my anxiety and low moods.

i’ve been on 20mg for 18 months but the last two weeks i feel like i’m back to square one, i wondered if it was due to a brand change, but went back to my usual brand a week ago and still feeling the same.

Has anyone on here increased to 30mg and how soon did you start to feel better & did you have any side effects?

Hi I’m currently in the same situation altho I’m only on 10mg atm been on that 9 week with some mi or improvement the past 2 days I’ve felt back to square one and still having some side effects dr advised me to increase slowly to minimise side effects I’ve to do 15mg for a few weeks but worried the side effects will come back or get worse
