Long shot - clozapine experiences?

I have brittle bipolar and have lost count of admissions secondary to psychotic episodes. It's breaking me and my family. I've tried 5 antipychotic medications with variable effect.

I discussed clozapine with my psychiatrist and to my suprise he thought this worth pursuing. He's referring me to the specialist team. I'm fully aware of the side effects.

Has anyone got any experience?

I have a friend who doesn’t have bipolar but severe depression and it worked for her at some stage. I don’t know if she’s still on it.

I have schizoaffective disorder and clozapine changed my life! I am so much more stable…
