Breast lump

I am going out of my mind and need some calming down. In December 2023 I felt a lump in my breast to me it feels like a really small grain of rice, I went to the breast clinic in February 2024 and had an exam told there was no definite lumps and was sent on my way. Yesterday I felt the area and it's sent my anxiety sky high. It still feels the same but I'm really worried. Would there have been changes in Two years that I would notice

I recognised you from previous posts where you have been worrying about blood test results, a mole and a lump behind your ear. Do you think this is another example of your health anxiety rather than a real health issue?

I'm just starting to think why did she not send me for a ultrasound when I attended the hospital. And she said she couldn't feel any lumps but it's there

I’m no expert but wouldn’t it have changed in size and shape since then if it was anything sinister?
Have you had any treatment for your health anxiety as it seems to be making your life a misery?

I honestly don't know I'm hoping that would be the case and all is ok. I'm taking 150mg setraline which definitely helps. I also have done CBT but it has never helped

I had something similar not long ago after having a baby and was told it was glandular breast tissue. It felt like a very prominent grain of rice, hard and didn’t feel movable. They did do an ultrasound but just saw tissue, maybe some fluid. I can’t feel it as much now, but I try not to as I also have some anxiety. If you are worried I’d go back and say it’s bothering you, but chances are if it hasn’t changed it won’t be anything serious x

I keep telling myself the lady said it was normal 2 years ago but then I think what if she didn't feel it properly. It feels very prominent to me. If I feel it with my right hand it doesn't feel too bad bit with the left hand it feels sharp

You can get it checked again but then your anxiety will move on to the next health concern. You need to treat the health anxiety or it will move from one thing to another x

I feel like if I go to my GP I'll just feel worse as I know they'll refer me to the breast clinic. My anxiety is so bad today I feel like I can't breathe
