Can a mental health crisis be over a period of three weeks

If someone’s had multiple a&e admissions over a three week period or is it not classed as so because it lasted longer than a few days

My daughter is diagnosed as having bi polar affective disorder. From my experience I would say that 3 week period is all one episode .
