Would you turn to A.I. for grief?

I find this repellent, but I'm sure some will love it.

That seems absolutely repellant and deeply unhealthy to me. I entirely understand how awful grief can be but to engage in chat with a computer pretending to be your loved one is messed up on so many levels.

Oh dear Lord no! What an awful thought. If I'm grieving I will turn to God for comfort, not AI!

I’d rather use AI than god. I was working through something this week - something I witnessed made me deeply uncomfortable. It definitely helped me to work out why and I have come to terms with it.

Obviously not ideal for grief. But as a tool it’s useful.

Black mirror has an episode on this. It was disturbing.

Some think God is ridiculous as AI tbf

It does have a kind of surreal, science-fictiony feel to it, doesn't it?
