First day like this in a while. the ADs have been helping sooooooooooooo much, but a few broken nights sleep, issues with the business that just seem overwhelming atm (they aren't, but sleepy mind sees it that way), DH facing redundacny - find out on Weds, and him off work with chest infection and asthma attack.

I just can't focus to get work done

HUGS That is such an overwhelming feeling isnt it? It's amazing what sleep depreivation does to us, well to me, anyway. Is there any way you could find time to take a daytime nap, or, failing that, get some low dose sleeping tabs so you can get a 6 hour stretch each night?

HUGS and tons of empathy

Nx

Only if I can give the sleeping tabs to DS

Trying to convince him to sleep in a min so i can curl up in bed.

DH isn't well enough to leave in charge of DS Urgh.

Someone told me recently that there is a new rescue rememdy, called something like sleep remedy. She gave it to her DD the night after she had been awake the previous night, and apparently it worked a dream (no pun intended) and so she took it too. I have no experience of it, but is is worth a try? And dh will be fit again soon to help out HUGS

I sympathise. All my life I have found that the poverty of concentration is by far the worst feature of my depression. It fucked up my career, to be honest. I'm really sorry you are having a bad day. Hope you get some good sleep soon and feel better.

(Beware of herbal sleeping pills. Some can exacerbate depression.)

Flamesparrow · 16/06/2008 12:34

Ooh that sounds good to give to DS. I feel he is just back in the habit of waking and wanting me now rather than waking for a reason. I wouldn't need to take any myself - would be out cold in 2 seconds flat!!

depression was what messed up me going to uni, I really don't want it to wreck my business too
