Olanzapine withdrawal symptoms

So I came off Olanzapine a week ago. One of the side effects is insomnia and I’ve had this, quite extremely.

I have now got a prescription for a sleeping pill and told to take for next few days and that yea side effects coming off Olanzapine is insomnia.

However this time last year I was in crisis mode, took the sleeping tablets which didn’t work. I ended up in a psychiatric ward. I’m almost wanting to go to A&E or restart Olanzapine.

I’d be grateful for advice.

I was on olazapine and also had insomnia when coming off it. I was prescribed the sleeping tablet zopiclone (excuse the spelling) for a few days and it allowed me to sleep and get into somewhat of a pattern. I'll be honest I didn't get back into my normal sleep pattern but it allowed me a good 5/6 hours uninterrupted.

What have they prescribed you? I understand the desperate feeling so try everything you can before hospital.
