hey my best friend / brother died last weekend. We always called each other brother and sister he called my kids his nephew and niece has their names tattooed so he was a huge part of our family! My son who’s 10 is showing signs of depression and anxiety also waiting flor tests to be done ( adhd & anxiety ) I’m not taking him to the funeral he also said he doesn’t think he would cope going. I Was wondering if anyone had ideas how he can say goodbye with my self and my daughter. Something special as he was our world the best person thank you if you read this and have any suggestions xx

Is there a special place you all went or a favourite activity?
You could do a memory book, put pictures, get your son to write a letter - have a section for funny memories, list things you loved, things you’ll miss etc
(Edited to add : you could then have a section in the book saying on such and such a day we did this to say goodbye )
Remind your son that although his uncle is no longer here physically he’s always in his heart x
I’m so sorry for your loss x
