I suffer with anxiety and OCD and DH has a bad cold / sore throat I think the flu type big that’s going around. I’ve been sleeping separately as cannot get unwell as two v important jobs on Thursday and Friday. Tonight ij a rush to get out I was cleaning my teeth and realised I was using his electric toothbrush - they’re v similar. Rinsed my mouth thoroughly and used mouthwash and now panicking that I’ve messed up. Am I over reacting ? is this any worse than being in a room of people who are sneezing and coughing ? I’m generally a well person / Any advice welcome ? Thanks

I’m not really sure there’s anything you can do about it. Hope you manage to avoid it though!

I honestly wouldn’t worry. You live in the same house so even if you are sleeping separately there’s still a chance you would get it from touching doors etc. My husband was ill with flu two weeks ago. I got a bit sneezy but that’s it. I would recommend drinking/eating lots of ginger just for a little
immune boost.
