Ive always suffered unfortunately with terrible health anxiety.
Always feeling, checking, if i feel something its like i lose all sense of reality and go into total fight or flight until i get reassurance.
A real horrible cycle to be in, currently going through it with a neck gland. Had 3 gps look at it (i work in a gp so 2 of them then my usual GP) ..2 said cant feel anything but if i feel like i can to ask for an ultrasound. Im coming down with a cold now so my throat is tight from anxiety/cough and tbh im just struggling (doesnt help im 18 weeks preggers and hormonal)

Im not really sure the point of this. Maybe just hear other peoples stories, how they got better with their abxiety and panic? am i looking for reassurance again? Sure feels like it hand over face

Thanks ladies xxx

For me exercise helps keep health anxiety in check. I don’t know if it’s the boost to my mental health or the confidence in my body that does it, but it does help me. Good luck with it all.

Could it be a swollen lymph node due to pregnancy? If so it’s normal. They can swell under your armpits too.

Absolutely fine to ask the GP but sounds like it’s all normal. So I think that should reassure you. .

congrats on the pregnancy.
