I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was about 12. And known that one a long time.

I have recently been diagnosed with 'Sever Combined ADHD' no massive surprise

Strong autism traits - 'needs further investigation' I don't think I will investigate more. I was surprised.

I have 'Trauma related stress disorder' well going by the upbringing I had I guess that's no surprise.

Now the psychiatrist says I have dyspraxia. Having read what it is, I guess not also a surprise.

What do I do with all of these!! I know I've never been exactly 'normal' but I do get along in life pretty well. People that don't know me well assume I have it reasonably together, if a little bit excitable and 'weird'. I've even been called a 'yummy mummy, who doesn't look like I would have had a bad childhood'

IDK - I went to my GP about it and she said I am a very interesting patient that could be a case study lol

You don't do anything (unless you want to). You're not defined by labels so you do exactly what makes life run smoothly for you and those you love.

Simples. 😊

Thank you :) I will prob do something - not sure what. I need to mind myself better. I have had some pretty epic burn outs ( I now know that's what it was).

You don't have to do anything beyond understand it and use it to inform yourself and whatever treatment you might choose. Comorbidity is more common than not though so it's not unusual.

current thinking is all the D’s go together.

ASD
ADHD
Dyspraxia
Dyslexia
Dyscalcula.

Stress disorder will have come from living with your undiagnosed issues.

I don't have dyscalcula, I am pretty good with numbers, and enjoy working with spreadsheets etc.

I think the stress disorder is unfortunately from a childhood that was filled with repeated abandonment, encouraged to drink alcohol from age 13, abuse in many forms, neglect and emotional control. All under the guise of a 'bright girl' who was clean, fed and seemed happy.

It just feels like a pandoras box that I have opened that I can't shut again. But one the needed to be opened because every so often the box shattered and just about glued itself back
