Dd had been suffering with life limiting ocd and anxiety. She is only 20. But more like a 13/14 year old in many ways.

Her psychiatrist who I trust as we have seen him for 3 years now and he is an excellent listener has put her on a small dose of seroquel 12.5mgs to start then 25mgs and upped her sertraline a little too. I'm so nervous to start but she can't carry on like this.

Has anyone had a good experience with it. I know about the weight gain so will be mindful of that and try to provide her healthy snacks.

I thought chlomipramine was the best drug for OCD?

I take quetiapine. I was put on it 15 years ago for bipolar disorder (as a mood stabiliser). I’m currently on 350mg and am about 2 and half stone heavier than I was when I went on it
(but am now mid fourties’ and think hormones not helping plus I dont help myself !)
it’s a good drug I would say, it helped level me out and was great for sleep.
I don’t have experience of it for OCD though x
