I’m switching from sertraline 50g to escitalopram 5g. Has anyone else done this. Any experience of starting or being on escitalopram?
I suffer from intrusive thoughts and worries, a bit ocd like.
It’s really impacting on my daily life as I just can’t let things go and accept things.
I’ll keep you all posted.

Im about to do similarly, coming from 200 sertraline. Still breastfeeding a young baby so a bit anxious but similarly ocd is ruining my life so not much choice.

Sorry you’re suffering too. Why did you decide to go from
sert to escitalopram 5g? Did the sertraline stop working for you? It did for me.
let me know how you find it. I’ll keep posting updates on my experience with it.

I'm on escitalopram. Only a low dose. My mood is brighter.

I have experienced sertraline and escitalopram and citalopram. I found escitalopram the most effective if the three. Really stabilised me at the time. However, I didn't go from one to the other so can't comment on that.

Also, my issue was similar to yours and, for me, it really helped.
