Samaritans

I was feeling particularly low this morning so rang the Samaritans. I eventually got through, but the line did ring for quite some time. Is there a shortage of volunteers I’m not too sure. Sorry, not sure where I’m going with this but I do feel less stressed than I did.

@Pandorra sometimes it takes a while to get through to them. Glad you are feeling better x they also have an email chat option but again it sometimes takes a while for an answer x

Yes it can take a while, it’s the same for all the MH support lines I have found. How are you now?

I’m feeling so much better, thanks. She was a lovely lady who listened to me and I’m pleased I held on for someone to eventually answer. I also had a short nap this afternoon and it’s done me some good.

Yes, there can be a shortage of volunteers to cover all shifts.
