I don’t have experience of everything you are going through. But I wondered if you were on medication for your ADHD? I ask as I had been on citalopram for many years prior to being diagnosed with ADHD in my 40’s, and once my ADHD meds were at the right dosage, I found it easier to taper off the citalopram - so might be something to discuss with your GP?

Why are you coming off citalopram? I'm on it, also ADHD and peri, going through tritation on atomoxetine. Coming of ADs needs to be done really slowly, over months. Are you on ADHD drugs? They might help stabilise you. What does your clinician say?
