Hi, I’m looking for feedback on people’s experience with Zelleta and other mini pills.
The background is that our daughter (16) was prescribed Zelleta this morning. GP won’t precise a combined pill due to her having had one headache with aura. This is a shame as we were hoping for Yasmin due to positive effect on acne and mood stabilisation. Our daughter has emotional dysregulation and low mood.
since the appt I’ve read that the Mini pill can crate or worsen both depression and acne so I am wary of her taking it, as I don’t want to worsen her mood in particular.
does anyone have any experience of Zelleta (previously Cerrazette I think)? What effect if any did it have on your mood?
NB she does not need the pill for contraceptive purposes, we were hoping it might help skin and mood, and lessen PMT.
