An In-law groped me

An in-law groped me 3 times. First time when I was 17/18 years old, last time I was probably 25, so this was 10 years ago as I’m now 35. I’ve never spoken to anyone about it, apart from my husband who was shocked and angry with the person.
I tried to avoid this person over the years but unavoidable things like family weddings came up, which was one of the times it happened.
Nothing was ever said to him or my husband’s family as I didn’t want to cause fallouts and upset in his family.
We have 2 children that my MIL wants him to meet. We’ve been able to make excuses to not go. (Luckily he lives the other side of the country) However recently his health is in decline and it seems he doesn’t have long. Again my MIL is putting pressure on my husband to go see him. He’s decided to go alone but says he doesn’t want to.
I’ve been able to mostly put it to the back of my mind. But when he comes up in conversation I’m reminded and l feel angry about this whole thing, he got away with it.
Not sure why I’ve posted this other than a vent.

So your husband knows and is shocked and angry
But is going to see him??

He’s no doubt got an entire crowd of women who have had his grubby hands over them in the past.

I am shocked your husband is disrespecting you so badly on this

He’s not taking them, he’s going alone.
