Depression and tiredness

Hi all,

Suffer from depression, it comes and goes. Feel pretty low last few days. Have that depressed, tired and lethargic feeling. No energy, can’t think straight. Depressed tired is different to typical tired - my whole body feels heavy. Can anyone relate to this? Also any tips to address it?

Thank you

I’m sorry your post has gone unanswered.

Could you try some gentle exercise/a walk in nature? That can really help.

No tips to help but I can absolutely relate. It's just an all consuming tiredness isn't it.

I worked nights for 3 years and even the Nightshift tiredness doesn't even begin to compare with this.

I hope things pick up for you soon.

Thank you both. I feel a bit better today. I decluttered a little and walked outside and they both lifted me a little. Slept about 10 hours last night. I appreciate you replying

@Bufftailed silly question but how are your thyroid levels? ? If it's under active it can cause depression and lethargy. Sending hugs its horrible feeling like it x
