Hi,

I know I’m silly but currently having to buy anti depressants privately which I really do think are working for me.

I’m with boots signed up to pay £65.00 monthly under depression & anxiety I’ve had a wellness call from the prescriber recently who said to put next order in this week on my online account, going to do this there is no where possible that I can see on the account to do this. I’ve even used different devices thinking maybe screen size issue but still can’t see how this is possible.

Do they make you wait each month until the very date you started last order does anyone know?

I’m just getting concerned if left to last minute I could be left a few days without medication as have to rely on a postal service and surely that can’t be good.

Why don’t you see your gp for a prescription?

That’s what I was wondering. GPs are usually happy to dole out ADs without much thought.

Have you checked your emails including junk? My private prescriber sends a reminder email to ensure you don't end up with a gap in medication.

Yes that it what I hoped happened but no nothing, just wellbeing call last week told verbally to put order in via account. I have even ordered weight loss injections no problems admittedly never through boots. I cannot believe they would leave someone to run completely out.

I did think it was a strange service the first consultation to be prescribed happened on a Monday and I did not receive medication until the Saturday.

They refuse to, preferring to give me a 14 day temporary sleeping pill. Did see on one of those tv documentaries anti d’s aren’t first line treatment anymore.

They also haven’t taken HRT of my record having not taken it for months so maybe that is also an issue. The whole HRT v’s anti depressants.

I wish I’d mentioned it this morning whilst up hospital out patient hearing I did have necrotising fasciitis thanks to diabetes and flesh removed to save a limb few months back.

So annoying whilst I’ve been on Sertraline I been more happier and able to touch the wound and just lot calmer.

How have you managed to change username mid-thread?

I think it’s on the many devices I’m trying. Today has been a hell of a day with a hospital telling me we told you this but you were so poorly and out of it we apologise.

Anyways boots sent a link exactly a week ago since I spoke with them at roughly same time, I was on the phone waiting for them to answer about an hour and a half, they must be crazy busy due to the panic of the weight loss injections (this is apparent on my account) so I apologised and greatly thank the lady for answering. No rudeness needed, sorry for any offence.
