Cutting myself off

Ive never been particularly sociable but recently even less so. MH has always been a struggle

i don’t have the headspace or interest in others but mostly don’t have anything to say and this makes me
paeanoid

I sometimes force myself but always count down when I can leave

i wfh mostly but the days in the office I just tolerate others but mostly zone out of conversations .

I do keep active (gym) and enjoy reading but know social connections are inportsnf

Any tips on pushing myself !

Just be mindful that people won’t always be there if you push them away.

Be picky,
think about what things u enjoy doing with people, when you have felt more connected -
is it going out for something to eat ? Cinema ? Walk ? Whatever
then try to plan these things in with people
the more u do the more u will have to talk about
doing less seeing people less feeling low is a downward spiral and there’s no two ways about it, you have to push back and do more which will help to lift mood and help to feel more at ease with social connection.
