Hi all,
6 days ago I went up from 50mg to 100mg due to low mood and anxiety creeping. I am day 6 and feeling so shit. Heightened panic and anxiety, racing thoughts, sweating just feel so down. I know it gets worse before it gets better, I just need some words of encouragement from those who understand and to power on because right now I want to jack it in.

Thank you x

I know exactly how you feel, went through the same thing last year on citalopram trying to up my dose and I felt horrific. I just kept reminding myself it won't always be like this, if I can just hold on for a bit longer it WILL get better, I'm doing this for XYZ reason (for me I was telling myself I'm doing this for my son, I want to be present for him instead of in my head and depriving him of an involved mother), whatever works for you.

Yoga nidra videos on YouTube by Ali boothroyd, really really recommend these. If you feel able to do low level distractions like colouring in, drawing or whatever hobbies you have that aren't too challenging.

It wasn't the cure all that I thought it would be but it makes it more manageable that's for sure. I'm pretty sure I had a breakdown.

Thank you. Yes definitely in a better place but not back to my old self quite yet - suppose I may never be and just need to accept that.
How are you doing today with the side effects? X

I am better in the afternoon evenings but mornings are hard. It’s stopping me from sleeping properly and I feel quite out of it and foggy. Hoping it will lift soon x

Are you taking the tablet morning or night? Sometimes that can have a big impact the time of day. I take mine in the mornings.
