After 14 weeks on citalopram I’m switching over to venelafaxine fingers crossed this one works. What does everyone do besides medication that works for you, I’m desperate 😢

@Catsservant I'm sorry to hear that you have not had a good result with citalopram. Hopefully venelafaxine will be the one.

I think for me sleep is really important. I can fall into bad sleep habits easily and get later and later to bed without really realising and then I realise I am a bit out of sorts too.

If I can keep in a good routine of getting enough sleep I think it helps.

For me qutiapine, but sleep and anxiety, bordering on mania/psychosis was more of an issue for me and qutiapine is a sedative. I think maintaining wellness, I've found a guided journal good, so a little bit every day of something reflective. And the 10-3-2-1 sleep rule - look it up.

Making sure I get enough sleep (easier said than done if your brain is in overdrive), time to myself doing something I enjoy, exercise (again easier said than done when you feel shit!)
