Missed one tablet …felt so low..

I’ve been taking sertraline for three years and missed one tablet the other day. I spent an awful day out, not feeling like myself. When I realised I took it when back at home.
Not sure what I’m asking, but does this sound about right? It’s 50mg.

No it doesn’t sound right
missing one tablet on one day after 3x years solid use would have not have had an even remotely material impact

Sounds unlikely OP. 50mg is a very low dose of Sertraline anyway

I take sertaline and miss at least 1 per fortnight ( mind like a sieve) I have never felt any adverse effects. Could it be physiological because you knew you missed taking it?

My Ds is on 100mg and if he misses a tablet he feels physically unwell if he misses a tablet.
He takes his in the evenings and by lunch time the next day he will start to feel dizzy and unwell if he misses one.

If I miss a day (citalopram but used to be on sertraline) I would feel spacey and a bit electric zappy in the head

I actually forgot I didn’t take it.
