Withdrawal itching (antipsychotics)

I have come off my anti psychotics but omg the itching is horrendous. All over my body, particularly my head, my hands and feet. Cannot sleep as itch everywhere. Have cuts all over my body where I’ve scratched myself raw.
Has anyone experienced this and how long does it last? It’s been about 10 days now.

I had a slow withdrawal from olazapine . Did have any side effects from the withdrawal. A couple of questions. How long were you on the medication? I was on line for 6 months including the slow withdrawal. How slowly are you withdrawing? What was you initial highest dose and how small are the increments you’re reducing by.

I was on 15mg olanzapine. Reduced by 5mg a week. I had been on it about 18 months I think.

My withdrawal was slower. I lowered small amount I think 2.5mg a time (but it could have 5mg at a time - my memory of that time is a little fuzzy) and I definitelystayed on each dose for a month before lowing again.

I would consider asking them to review the withdrawal plan. It sounds a little too quick.
