Loss of appetite and nausea due to anxiety

Any tips on how to get rid of a loss of appetite and nausea?

I don’t think it’s anything health related but I do suffer from anxiety and emetephobia so it ends up being a catch 22 situation for me. This is a fairly regular occurrence for me and can be related to stress. I have moved house in the last week but still in the same area so not a whole lot has changed but it’s doing my head in. I want to eat but I feel physically sick at the thought of eating.

Any advice on how to stop this or what I can try to eat to help it. My go too safe food is plain pasta but I had that for dinner yesterday and then my lack of appetite got worse so I really don’t fancy that.

Yogurt, bananas (doesn't have to be a whole one), homemade smoothies?

Nuts. They're healthy and there's lots of calories in them, so you don't have to eat too many. If you like milkshake, fortisip from the pharmacy (it's liquid food, 300 calories in 125ml). Fruit juice, vitamins and calories in one glass. CupaSoups have about 100 calories in too, not particularly healthy though I don't think . Chocolate digestives dipped in hot chocolate. They turn to mush in your mouth so it doesn't feel like eating. Distraction whilst you eat, put on your favourite TV show and try to eat without thinking about what you're doing.

Ginger helps with nausea. Snack on a packet of pieces of it or eat ginger biscuits for more calories. Lemon and ginger herbal tea too.

I find things you can drink instead of eat work best, like soup and yogurt tubes.

Thank you so much everyone.
Have managed a bit more today, still not much of an appetite but not a complete aversion to food iyswim. It’s been a day of ice poles and snacks but a win is a win
