Sister set fire to uniform.

Hello can any one help me to understand my sisters behaviour.
She was dismissed from her job because she doesn't fit in. They were bullying her for 6 months prior. she come home and set fire to her uniform with petrol. She burnt herself in the process.
She does suffer from bipolar. Was this the bi polar that caused this?

I don't think anyone can answer that, no-one knows your sister.

It could be, or it could be something else. I’d strongly urge her to go to her GP.
