Anxiety medication

Hello. Long story short, got diagnosed with an early stage cancer almost two years ago. Was already a worrier & now my anxiety about it coming back is taking the joy out of life with my family (2 young children).

I understand appointments cause anxiety but this is every day worrying/scared of planning ahead.

Tried CBT but instantly forgot techniques.

Is medication the way forward? If so, does anyone have any recommendations please? I’m not having panic attacks or anything, it’s just a knot in my stomach and I’m fed up of it.

In my experience CBT requires practice. Worth revisiting. But I’m also on medication.

I found some of it more useful than other bits! I also did a mindfulness course and I make sure to exercise. But none of that would help without my Prozac! 🤦‍♀️
