Mental Exhaustion

Does anyone have any advise on how to deal with Mental Exhaustion? I have so much going on at the moment that I feel like I’m going to burnout / have a panic attack.

I have had a bereavement in the last few months also so with all of this going on I just feel like I need to take some time out and reset but I don’t know how to.

No real advice sorry but going through the same.

Actually one piece of advice I would maybe give is step away from social media and phones, tv in general. I find concentrating on one task at a time sort of helps

Thank you and sorry you are feeling the same. I definitely need to start taking a break from my phone, I read a lot so TV isn’t an issue.

I was actually going to start my own thread about this. Sometimes in life there's just too much to deal with at once and we keep going and going until we burnout. I knew I needed to have a break sooner but I couldn't figure out how to get one. Too many responsibilities with deadlines, the usual day to day stuff and then unexpected stuff kept happening on top, for a prolonged period of time. The mental exhaustion is real. It now feels physical. Sending solidarity.

This (although here I am on social media). I’m going through the same and I ended up calling the Samaritans tonight and this was one of the things they advised. The other advice I’ve had was around self care, eating healthily, trying to get in a bit of exercise and fresh air, spending time with loved ones. And ultimately tackling the issue that is the root cause of the mental exhaustion. I just need to follow the advice now. Hope things get better for you OP.
