Help! Can't remember if I took my Sertraline!

Hi there,
Been on 50mg for 3 months - took a while but feel so much better now. Was rushing around this morning, and I remember thinking 'oh must take my tablet' but for the life of me can't remember if I did (first time this has happened - busy morning- on autopilot!)
Anyway, totally 50/50 that i did/didn't, so my question is, am I better off taking it now and possibly double dosing for one day. Or leave it and take tomorrow?
SO annoyed with myself as i've been feeling great these last few weeks..
Thanks so much!!

Check the leaflet in the box. They usually have a paragraph "What to do if you forget to take a dose . . . " And invest in one of those little boxes which you can put your pills in each week, with a section for each day.

Most of all, don't panic. It's brilliant that you have responded so well to the meds. One days wobble really won't affect you too badly.

Best of luck.

@CazziN Leave it and take again tomorrow.

Do not risk double dosing. Nothing bad will happen honest. I do it accidentally now and then and it's fine.

Also, consider changing the time you take your meds. I have a bedtime routine that I do every night that includes medicine taking. Busy mornings might not be the best time.

One day off won’t hurt. One day doubling won’t hurt. If you’re feeling great on it, I’d skip the dose. If it’s not touching the sides double it. 50mg is a maintenance dose.

Use the meds app on iPhone you can set when you’re supposed to take it and it reminds you then mark when you have taken

Thanks so much for the quick replies everyone - really appreciate it. In some ways it's 'nice' that I can't remember (once!) For 6 weeks, taking that pill was all I thought about!! Shows they're working! But will definitely download the meds app or buy a pill box. I'm not sure about switching to nighttime as i'm afraid it'll affect my sleep. Thanks again!
