paroxetine

Does anyone here take Paroxetine or is new to the drug? I can see that it doesn't seem to be prescribed alot amongst the other SSRI's.

Ive got some side effects that im hoping will go away, but just wanted to ask some of you if you had experience on this antidepressant.

I take this medication and have with some small gaps for 20 years, happy to try and help x

Can I ask what side effects you experienced when you first took it if you can remember. I have awful headaches, jaw clenching and bad nausea. Ive been on it for 1 month at 10mg. I take it for Anxiety and OCD xx

Also i feel more anxious and on edge xx

I haven’t taken this but with sertraline they tell you to expect to be more anxious, on edge and prickly for the first couple of weeks

I took it many years ago and was on it for less than a year as I rapidly gained weight and became disinhibited in my behaviour. I was having a ball, but no one else was enjoying me very much. I came off it and changed to another medication. Happily the good effects it had on my OCD persisted and that has made a huge difference to my life.

I have been on sertraline and had experienced side effects like this I am on paroxetine. Just feels alot more intense somehow.
