Does anyone else suffer with sundown scaries?
most nights I feel like I’m absolutely fine and other nights I’m taking propranolol and trying not to have a panic attack over nothing and it doesn’t seem to go away altogether 🫣🥲

Yes… I used to get this when I went through an awful period of panic attacks. Weird feeling of dread and fearing another panic attack whenever it got dark. I’m not quite sure what got me out of it except lots of therapy (where I didn’t really talk about this specific thing).

You’re not alone though! Probably some primal fear of the dark type thing. Can you distract yourself in advance of sundown with a TV show, book or something?

I sort of get them out of nowhere and I’m literally trying everything to distract myself, I’m a single mother with s a 5 week old so I’m sleep deprived and it’s so hard to just switch off on a night because of the fear of having a panic attack
