I'm in much need of any support or advice to help my 13-year-old daughter start to thrive in life again. My daughter has suffered for the past 2 1/2 years and has slowly got worse and worse with mental health issues like depression and social anxiety and also sensory problems she is on waiting lists for YISP, autism assessment counselling and various other courses but of course the waits are very long and my daughter is in crisis now and it's only getting worse. I have been to the doctors at least 20 times over these past 2 1/2 years and they said there's nothing they can do to help her and it's the school duty to help her my daughter has crippling social anxiety and can't attend school so School can't help her at all either so how is she supposed to get help? I worry as she says she doesnt want to be here anymore. She has also done cbt but it had no affect on her, also tried cbd oils, carms and gummies. Thank you.

Have a chat (free) with Therese Langford of https://www.facebook.com/calmmindhypnotherapy - she works exclusively with children with anxiety.

Disclaimer - she is a colleague but I do not receive any benefit if you do decide to work with her.

How is she in crisis?

Cause she is getting depressed and saying she doesn't want to be here anymore. I find it hard to get her to leave the house due to her anxieties

Has she made plans to end her life or self harmed?

If she is in crisis you can contact NHS Direct option 2 and speak to the mental health team. I would hide any medication or sharp objects.

You can contact Young Minds, they have a good helpline.

You can try BACP for a therapist.

Have a look at the symptoms of PANS/PANDAS and see if they resonate with you.
