Scared of losing it again!

why does life have so much hard stuff in it? Was slowly recovering from 2nd serious illness, family splitting up and just got another bombshell on top of all the daily mad elderly parents / recalcitrant teens / cost of living/ work/ house sale stuff. I have gone straight back to being terrified of losing the plot again.
Im in danger of blaming DH as well, surely no one goes through this amount of crap?

P.s. I meant to ask if anyone has coping tips that doesn’t include sertraline, too awful for the first few weeks.

That mindset, whilst very understandable, is only going to keep you focussed on the bad stuff happening - like a self fulfilling prophesy.

(I'm reminded of a terrifying riding teacher who used to screech "Do NOT look the ground!! Where you look you go!!")

Try to flip it instead - you've got through bad days/weeks/months in the past and you will get through this. Make sure you are getting enough sleep (this is crucial, let other stuff slide if necessary) and take 10/15 minutes to yourself at least twice a day - go for a walk, read a book, listen to a podcast. Just something that's yours and reminds you that you are equally as valuable and precious as everyone else.
