I would like to get together with any parents who don't enjoy the parenting experience. I'm a single mother of twins and I don't really have anyone to vent to. I'd like to organise a group who can share the misery, have a good moan, a good laugh and not be judged for resenting their 'blessings.' It would be great for mental health and for making friends. No topic off limits. I live in Leyland in Lancashire. I have 12 year old twins and before they were born, a friend told me they will bring me so much joy. I'm still waiting......

I’m in! I have 5yr old twins and a 6yr old. I struggle with my EUPD, and depression diagnosis. My ex and I are separated, but he’s a brilliant dad and we are 50/50

Hi
I just looked up EUPD. There's loads of new disorders being created. I don't think it's a disorder. It's normal. I'm a dedicated self-medicator. I rarely visit my GP, but I think my son may have 'being a little brat' disorder. I used to watch Supernanny and the bloke would often say ''if the situation doesn't improve, I'm leaving....'' Oh you are, are you? Well tell you what, I'M off mate. Mothers get so much flack for not appreciating children, but we don't all turn into Mary Poppins when we have kids. I recommend more me-time and self indulgence as often as possible. We lose our identity right from when hospital staff start calling us 'mum.' Leave your life at reception. I remember sitting in Sharoe Green car park looking at the grey sky and thinking 'is this really happening?''

EUPD isn’t a “new disorder”… it’s the more commonly accepted name for what was previously called Borderline Personality Disorder.
And for those living with it, it most certainly isn’t “normal”. It’s a debilitating condition, usually arising from childhood trauma.

Well said

I'm not sure if joining a group of people who resent their children is going to have any positive impact.

I also wouldn’t be joining any group instigated by someone who claims EUPD doesn’t exist and self medicating is the preferable way to manage mental health. But hey ho.

All I can say is, don't get involved then. Simple. It's for a light hearted vent, telling it like it is, having a laugh and not being judged. Why even bother trolling when a topic clearly doesn't apply to or interest you. Unless there are AI Bitterness Bots that automatically pop up on every forum/.topic just to ruffle feathers. It's not actually an online discussion. Just an idea. End chat.
