Hi All.
I've been on 10mg for a year or so, just to take the edge off anxiety and help stop panic attacks.
The feelings still come and go but I'm a lot better than I was and am happy on a low dose.

That said, we've recently lost a family member and my anxiety and stress has obviously shot up. I'm wondering if I can double my dose for a few weeks to help me cope a bit more. Does anyone have any advice?

Worried about side effects (the irony...) and not sure it would actually make much difference as quickly as I need it to?

My advice would be to call your GP. I had very stressful period of time and I called my GP and they upped my dose. Please don’t do this on your own. Once you make the call it can happen very quickly.

Echoing to speak to your GP about a dose increase.

Do you have any other healthy coping strategies you could rely on whilst you see the GP and the pills have an effect? X

I've been on this for many years 20mg.
I had to increase at one point under the GP advice. However it was like starting them again and I did have side effects, for me nausea and so tired, took a couple of days to be back to normal.
Everyone is different

Maybe try 111 to see if you can get advice?
Sorry for your loss x

This was my worry, I cannot deal with side effects right now.
Powering through is my answer then, I guess. Thanks everyone xx
